The 3rd Western China International Fair - Import & Export Expo (WCIF-IEE) will be held from September 20th to 23rd 2019, at Western China Expo Center, Chengdu, with a total exhibition area of 80,000 square meters.
The WCIF-IEE is co-sponsored by China Chamber of International Commerce and the Organizing Committee of Western China International Fair, and supported by Sichuan People’s Government. A 10,000-square-meters International Hall is set up, displaying technological innovation, trade & service, premium products and investment-recruiting projects, in developed economies of Europe, America, Asia Pacific and in other emerging economies of Asia, Africa and Latin America, highlighting the advantageous industries of countries/regions along the "Belt and Road", and facilitating the economic & trade exchanges among these countries and western China.

第三届中国西部国际博览会进出口展将于2019年9月20至9月23日在成都市中国西部国际博览城举办，展览总面积8万平方米。
西博会进出口展由中国国际商会和中国西部国际博览会组委会共同主办，四川省人民政府支持。设1万平方米国际馆，展示来自欧美等发达经济体、泛亚地区，及其他亚非拉地区新兴经济体的技术创新、贸易&服务、优质产品和招商引资项目，重点突出一带一路沿线国家商贸发展环境和优势产业，以利促进上述地区的国家和中国西部地区的经贸交流。

Brief Introduction

1. To member companies with over 1,000 employees:

We provide booths to industrial giants / multinational enterprises invited by European Chamber for free, and a booth construction subsidy of RMB 800 yuan/ square meters. For example, if you take a booth of 90 square meters, you may pay none booth rental and receive a construction subsidy of RMB 72,000 yuan (800 yuan × 90 sqm).

Besides, we may coordinate meetings with provincial/ municipal governmental officials of corresponding level, and arrange courteous reception during the exhibition. For more extra customized services, you may bring it to us and see if we can reach your demand.

2. To SME Chamber members:

We provide upgraded standard booths to the exhibiting group organized by EUCCC at a discount of 50% off, that is, RMB 4,000 yuan per booth, and a special preferential incentive of in-kind exchanges:
Companies may use products of a certain amount, with a total market price equals to the booth rental, as an exchange for booths, instead of payment in cash. According to types of products, the WCIF-IEE Organizing
Committee will utilize the exchanged products in occasions as followings, while helping brand and product promotion for companies:

1). At receptions (If the exchanges are wine, drinks, food (packaged), etc.), when the Organizing Committee treat VIPs who are from Sichuan province, western region provinces, east and middle provinces.
2). As gifts (usually if the exchanges are portable), when governmental officials and Organizing Committee managements meet VIPs who are from the regions mentioned above.
3). To be handed out as sponsors' souvenir, at concurrent events hosted by the Organizing Committee during the WCIF-IEE, usually some networkings or seminars participated by both domestic and foreign businesses.
4). As prizes/little gifts, at interactive/ promotional activities hosted by the Organizing Committee, such as roadshows before and lucky-draws during the WCIF-IEE, etc.

2. Who else are participating in the International Hall?
Current applications are from the U.K., Italy, Poland, Germany, France, Czech, Turkey, Georgia and other countries in Europe; Japan, S. Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong (China), Taiwan (China) in Pan-pacific countries/regions; Thailand, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Nepal and other countries in South and Southeast Asia; the U.S., Argentina, Brazil, Peru from America; South Africa, Gana and other African countries.

3. Where are exhibitors in other halls from?
Besides the International Hall, there will be other 7 halls, containing:
- exhibiting delegations from 19 cities in Sichuan province,
- and other provinces in western region of China and central/eastern China, such as Chongqing, Shannxi, Xinjiang, Gansu, Qinghai, Yunnan, Ningxia, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, etc.,
- State-owned enterprises in fields of energy, machinery, automobile, airlines, telecom, etc.
- as well as companies in electronics, cultural innovation, elder care, fashion lifestyle, houseware, Food & beverage, tourism and other sectors.

4. How is the booth (for SMEs) look?
Each booth: 3*3=9㎡. Each includes: nameplate of the company, spotlights, tables, chairs. Exhibitors just need to bring products in and decorate the booth with the company's posters and things alike.

5. Shall I join biz-matching events?
Yes. When you confirm participation and sign exhibition contract, we will give you a form collecting your biz-matching demands. Usually we seek Chinese counterparts approx. one month before (before July 31, this year) the opening of the exhibition.Then we will inform you about which biz-matching event to join and when to meet the Chinese counterparts on-site during the exhibition. There are various events for participants of the WCIF-IEE. For international exhibitors, there are some events they may be interested in.

6. Shall I sell on-site?
Yes.

7. How will my business enjoy publicity?
You will enjoy publicity while your exhibition group is covered by media. In addition, you may fill in the Interview Application and we will hand it over to media. If any media is interested, we will arrange the interview for your own company, either before or during the exhibition.

8. What kind of Media?
We will cover your pavilion and exhibitors in forms of reports and photos, live broadcast and media interview, from the time you provide us your exhibition contents, till the end of September.

At the last 2 sessions of WCIF-IEE, each of them attracted visitors about 80,000 person-times.
Last WCIF-IEE has seen the attendance of professional visitors about 37,000 person-times. (Please check Q&A No. 1 for details.)

10. How is the last session of WCIF-IEE？
The 2nd WCIF-IEE was held in Chengdu, Sichuan, in September 2017, with an exhibition of 75 thousand square meters. More than 1300 companies from 39 countries (regions) participated in the exhibition. Among them, there were more than 80 overseas companies, with a total exhibition area of 5000 square meters. More than 900 foreign and domestic enterprises participated in the concurrent events hosted by provincial-level departments, including 73 Fortune Global 500 companies and 56 China Top 500 companies. The 2nd WCIF-IEE attracted visitors about 82000 person-times, including professional visitors about 37000 person-times. Along with the exhibition, there were more than 20 events and over 50 biz-matching events were held on last WCIF-IEE, such as the Western China International Sourcing Fair, “Belt and Road” International Multi modal Transport and Cross-border Trade Development Conference, etc. 898 journalists from 218 media made on-site reports. Member of Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Vice Premier Wang Yang inspected the 2nd WCIF-IEE, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference attended the Opening Ceremony and visited the exhibition. Meanwhile, 2 foreign heads of states, 5 foreign ministerial officials, 18 foreign diplomatic envoys, 3 international organization principals, nearly 46 representatives from chambers of commerce/ business associations, as well as officials from Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Commerce, National Health and Family Planning Commission, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, All-China Federation of Returned Overseas, Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, China Food and Drug Administration, China Association of Port-of-entry, etc., attended the 2nd WCIF-IEE.
