Dear Members of Auto Components Working Group,
We are happy to inform you that on 17th November 16:00 pm (Beijing time) 9:00am (Brussels time), Mrs. Barbara BONVISSUTO (Deputy Head of Automotive Unit of the DG Grow) will give our Chamber members a debriefing on their 6th Plenary bilateral dialogue and consultation mechanism on industrial sectors(Automotive sector) with the Chinese MIIT in late October 2016 in Beijing.
During our previous meetings with DG Grow this year and last year during the EU Tour, we have touched base on the updates for the Chinese automotive sector and the auto parts sectors and presented Key Recommendations in our Position Paper to DG Growth. This debriefing meeting would be an excellent chance for all auto components group members to know the concerns and priorities of these stakeholders so as to better plan our next moves in lobbying activities.
Please note that due to the heavy packed time slots and arrangements between both governments of this delegation, this meeting slot would be the only choice for us.
Background:
Chairman of the Auto components group and Tiantian met with this division earlier this year and also the year before with previous chairman of the group, we touched base on the updates from our side for the Chinese automotive sector as well as the auto parts sectors. We presented the Position Paper KRs to them, and the newly launched Position Paper 2016/2017 will be presented to them in the next year EU Tour in early February 2017.
We can catch this chance to listen to the priorities of DG GROW and see the linkage of ours with theirs to plan our priorities and also to better plan our lobby plans.

As Mrs. Barbara BONVISSUTO is based in Brussels, the briefing session will be facilitated by a joint video conference linking Beijing and Shanghai office with Brussels DG Growth, members in Shanghai are expected to join the video meeting at 16:00 pm (Beijing time), 17th November at Chamber Shanghai Office.
