Professor Willem Burgers of China Europe International Business School, with his rich practical experience and working background, will share his views and examples of brand strategy inside China and outside China this August in Chengdu.

Professor Willem Burgers, faculty of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology during 1994-1996, now permanent faculty member at China Europe International Business School who holds the CEIBS Bayer HealthCare Chair in Strategy and Marketing, also teaches industrial marketing in executive programs at Columbia University in New York. Prior to obtaining his Ph.D. from Michigan State University in 1988, he worked for several companies including Philips NV in Holland and Switzerland, and Toledo Scale in the United States. He published a marketing book in 2004 named The Marketing You Never Knew.
