The speaker – Mr. Rene Galbavy, Senior Consultant at STAUFEN.SHANGHAI
In addition to his degree in Business Economics with emphasis on strategic control, transportation and logistics, Rene Galbavy also has a degree in Sinology. In part he studied at the renowned Tsinghua University in Beijing. Before starting to work for Staufen he could gain Lean Experience as a project leader for the introduction of a Kanban system at Liebherr in China. As a former consultant at Staufen AG and now senior consultant at Staufen Shanghai, his focus is on projects for Intelligent Factory planning as well as Lean transformation both in direct and indirect areas. During the past years working in China, Rene has helped major Chinese SOEs as well as international JVs and WFOEs to plan intelligent factories using Industry 4.0 elements, and he supported them in their Lean transformation in production and administration.
