On 10th September, European Commission President-elect Ursula von der Leyen announced the structure of the new Commission. The Commission will have a total of eight Vice-Presidents – three Executive Vice-Presidents (Frans Timmermans, Margrethe Vestager and Valdis Dombrovskis) and five more Vice-Presidents, all of which will also have a Commissioner role.

As a next step, the European Parliament will hold hearings for the College-designate, and after giving consent the European Council will formally appoint the Commission.

You can download the document with the structure of the new Commission, as well as the allocation of portfolios and supporting services (the DGs that each Commissioner will have assigned) below, and find more information on the bio of the new College here.
