The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is pleased to announce that member company representatives have confirmed Jörg Wuttke as President, during the European Chamber’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 23rd April. At the AGM, the three incumbent Vice Presidents were in turn confirmed, while a new Treasurer was also confirmed to sit on the Chamber’s Executive Committee.  

The European Chamber’s Leadership

The Executive Committee is composed of elected members and is collectively responsible for managing the European Chamber and representing its 1,800 member companies.

The confirmed President, Vice-Presidents and Treasurer of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China Executive Committee 2015/2016 are:

President – Mr. Jörg Wuttke

Chief Representative, BASF China

Vice President – Mr. Bertrand de La Noue

General Representative, TOTAL (China) and Chairman of TOTAL (China) Investment

Vice President - Mr. Mats Harborn

Executive Director, Scania China Strategic Office

Vice President – Ms. Sara Marchetta

Resident Partner, CHIOMENTI Studio Legale Beijing Representative Office

Treasurer - Mr. Lars Eckerlein

Country Chief Financial Officer, China, ABB (China) Limited

In the days leading up to the Annual General Meeting held in Beijing, Local Board elections were held in the European Chamber’s six other Chapters across China. The elected chairperson of the Shanghai Chapter has also been appointed as Vice President of the European Chamber’s Executive Committee:

On 27th April, the 28 EU National Representatives on the Supervisory Board also confirmed three States Representatives to serve on the European Chamber's Executive Committee. The States Representatives are:
