"Empower Your Leadership: Strengthening Personal Relationships for Peak Performance" Achieved Success

On November 7th, 2024, the European Chamber Shenyang Chapter, in collaboration with Shenyang Thellmann Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Thellmann Enterprise") and the BVMW German Center, hosted a training event titled "Empower Leadership: Strengthening Personal Relationships for Peak Performance." The event was held at the Forum Center on the 3rd floor of the BVMW German Center. Specially invited as the keynote speaker was Mrs. Anna Thellmann, the founder of Thellmann Enterprise and a certified NLP coach, who shared insights on how managing and organizing interpersonal relationships can enhance self-awareness and, in turn, improve professional performance.

“You are the problem and you are the solution”, Mrs. Thellmann began by addressing the concept of self-awareness, stating to emphasize that leadership starts with managing one's own emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. She explained that in family life, acts of care and respect towards loved ones create positive emotional reflections, ultimately leading to harmonious family relationships.

She then discussed the importance of cultivating positive energy in both personal and professional. She advised that the participants frequently to engage in some activities they enjoy and set personal boundaries. Mrs. Thellmann also recommended using journaling to reflect on emotions and self-awareness as powerful tools for building emotional resilience and preventing burnout. Furthermore, she highlighted the significance of accepting both strengths and weaknesses of oneself, avoiding comparisons, jealousy, and self-denial, and consciously managing negative thoughts and judgments. Practice like actively listening and maintaining an open attitude towards differing perspectives are also essential for developing self-leadership, which significantly enhances emotional well-being and interpersonal relationships, both at work and in personal life.

During the Q&A session, participants discussed challenges in managing workplace and family relationships, exploring how emotions can help resolve conflicts and build trust.

The training concluded on a high note with engaging interaction and exchanges. Participants expressed their gratitude for the practical tools and techniques shared by Mrs. Thellmann, believing that the insights would directly enhance their leadership skills and help ease interpersonal discomfort. They also expressed anticipation for future activities organized by the Chamber.
