Announcing the results of the 2023 Nanjing Board Election

On 27th April 2023, the Nanjing Chapter of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China held its Annual General Meeting at Sofitel Hotel. 

This event brought together majority Nanjing local member companies, as well as partners and media. 

Nanjing Board Chair Dr. Andreas Risch presented the Nanjing Position Paper 2023/2024 in the media roundtable and President Joerg Wuttke joined the discussion with all the media friends. 

During the Annual General Meeting, Dr. Andreas Risch presented the Nanjing Chapter's 2022 review. Major achievements include: 

-       11 local new members.

-       15+ government meetings/events in 2022, including provincial level and municipal level, e.g. Meeting with vice mayor of Xuzhou, also we held several meetings with other departments/bureaus in and around Jiangsu.

-       80+events held in 2022 with more than 800 participants. 

The Nanjing Chapter’s new Board was elected at the meeting.

We also would like to extend a warm thank you to the outgoing board members for their dedication and efforts during their time as board members. Thanks to all of the candidates who participated. We appreciate your enthusiasm and look forward to your continued support of the European Chamber Nanjing Chapter.

Afterwards, the Nanjing Position Paper 2023/2024 launched among our members by Dr Andreas Risch. Mr Pit Heltmann, Consul General of Germany in Shanghai gave the keynote speech, and a panel discussion followed. Mr Vladislav Spasov, Consul General of Bulgaria in Shanghai delivered the Closing Remarks. Finally, a farewell session to President Joerg Wuttke impressed all participants. 

A cocktail party followed, and all enjoyed the nice evening.
