On 24th Aug, European Chamber Nanjing Chapter hosted the Jiangsu Government Dialogue & Summer Business Mixer 2022 in Nanjing. Representatives of Jiangsu Department of Commerce along with 10 other relevant departments of Jiangsu Government, European diplomats, as well as European companies attended the conference. 

Mr. Thomas Triller, Acting Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Shanghai, commented positively on the mutual support and the future collaboration between China and the EU. 

Mr. Sun Jin, Deputy Director General, Department of Commerce of Jiangsu delivered a speech on the business outlook to the EU-China cooperation. 

Ms. Bettina Schoen-Behanzin, Vice President of the European Chamber shared the European Chamber 2022 Business Confidence Survey results on a national level while Dr. Andreas Risch, Chair of Nanjing board, delivered the local findings of the survey.   

A face-to-face dialogue between European companies and the relevant government departments was conducted. 

After the formal sessions, most guests stayed and had a good time during the business networking cocktail party. With light refreshments and snacks, everyone enjoyed a delightful evening at Fairmont Hotel Nanjing.
