Bring added value to your organisation – Inspire and engage employees to boost productivity

Bethany Jeanfreau from Campanile Management Consulting explained how companies can improve retaining employees by trying to understand and read employees specific needs and wishes. She exposed that just 13% of employees worldwide are engaged with their work because communication problems with their bosses occur. Managers and leaders don’t appreciate helpful feedback, do not offer trainings for self-improvement and keep a distant relationship. Her advice to companies:  a working feedback system and managers should be trained on how to build an understanding relationship with their employees.

In the second part of the event Eveline Goodman from EforP International focused on psychological behaviour of employees and explained how important it is to be aware of different characters in a company. There are the four types, as she described: Pushers, Players, Processors and Pleasers. To have a right mixture of types is essential for a workplace in which everyone can evolve its potential.  Also she pointed out how important it is to deal with different Generations in the right way. Today we see disagreements and different perceptions as Babyboomers and the Generation Y are confronted in corporations.
