Speakers’ Background:

Stefano Chao

Investment Manager of AZ Investment Management, Azimut Group.

At AZ Investment Stefano is responsible for the management of a Chinese liquidity fund and the China research team. The AZ team in Asia launched the first UCITS fund investing in offshore RMB and currently manages one of the largest pools of offshore RMB investments in the world. Prior to joining the AZ Investment team, Stefano worked for seven years in the Fixed Income Division of Lehman Brothers

in New York. Stefano holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from the China Europe International Business School.

Lee Beng Hong 

Head of Markets, China 

Head of Product Management for Offshore RMB, FICC Deutsche Bank

Beng Hong is a ten-year veteran at Deutsche Bank and is currently the head of Markets for China. Since 2011, he has been spearheading DB’s Offshore RMB strategy, heading the product management for offshore RMB.

Beng Hong was transferred to Shanghai from Singapore in 2008 to head up the Global Finance and Foreign Exchange business as part of Global Markets. While in DB Singapore, Beng Hong managed a series of interest rate and foreign exchange portfolios denominated in EUR, USD, JPY, SGD and other Asian Currencies.

Beng Hong began his career in Deutsche Bank as a member of the DB graduate program in 2003 after graduating with a Master of Financial Engineering from NTU Singapore that year. He graduated with a B.Eng (1st Hons) and M.Eng from NUS Singapore.

Emanuele Spagnoletti Zeuli

Senior Manager of Diacron Business Consulting (Shanghai) 

Emanuele Zeuli carries out consultancy focused to investments direct to China and from China to abroad. Before joining Diacron Group, Emanuele Zeuli realized experiences in other consulting firms specialized in accounting, financial and tax consultancy, based in Italy and in China. Emanuele Zeuli obtained a degree in 2004 from Tor Vergata University of Rome (Title of the Final Dissertation: "China: what competitive advantage") and he completed a Ph.d in accounting and banking issues.
