Some foreign carriers that current measures imposed on the international travel and air services may set the barriers to resume the flights and lead to competitive disadvantage. Topics discussed include time for resuming the flights, and relevant frequency, healthy and safety measures, and further negotiation with CAAC.

On 19th May, a meeting was held by Beijing Investment Promotion Service Centre (Invest Beijing) on the applications made by the European Chamber and its Advisory Committee members previously, for bringing foreign senior management team members back to Beijing. In the meeting, Director Shen Hang and Deputy Director Sun Fengjun went through application files thoroughly and asked a few questions. Chamber representatives and AC members took notes of their instruction. Invest Beijing emphasized that in the applications, the contributions made to Beijing is highly important and should be highlighted. After the updates, Invest Beijing will help to facilitate to the visa issuance.

Upon careful study of the draft and consultation with its members, the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, led by its Intellectual Property Rights Working Group, has collated all member inputs and submitted suggestions to the SPC for their consideration.
