Meeting with the European Union (EU) Delegation on the Resumption of EU airlines
Regarding the latest notice released on June 4th by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) on Adjustments to International Passenger Flights, the European Chamber met with its airline member companies to discuss their concerns and questions on this issue. Hereunder is a summary of the feedback from the European airline companies.
Online Meeting with China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) 2nd Quarter Survey on Chinese Investment Environment
On 11th June, in order to communicate operational challenges facing by foreign enterprises in doing business in China and collecting suggestions to improve the investment environment, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) invited around 140 representatives from enterprises, European Chamber, Amcham, and government officials from Foreign Investment Department of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Foreign Investment Department of Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), General Department of State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), International Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), International Department of Ministry of Finance (MOF) to attend CCPIT 2nd quarter online meeting.

On June 4th, European Chamber representatives was invited to join a meeting on the discussion of grace period for the new infant formula GB standards organised by the National Health Commission (NHC). At the meeting, Mr. ZHANG Zhiqiang, DDG of Department of Food Safety Standards, Risk Surveillance and Assessment, introduced the current revision status of new infant formula standards and sought for industry's recommendation on the alignment of the standards revision and recipe registration.
