On 24 May 2019, the European Chamber's Heating Sub-Working Group coordinator Ms Lizi Chen had a telephone meeting with the representatives from the Full Decoration Council at China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce (CRECC). Ms Zhongli Chen, the Secretary General of the Full Decoration Council and Mr Zheng Liu, the Vice Secretary General of the Full Decoration Council attended this telephone meeting.

On 8th May 2019, the European Chamber's Heating Sub-Working Group (Europe China Heating Initiative, ECHI) organised a meeting with China Quality Supervising and Test Center for Gas Appliances (CGAC) and Federation of German Heating Industry. Together with Mr Lothar Breidenbach, Technical Director at Federation of German Heating Industry, Heating Sub-Working Group Chair and Vice Chairs explained the European standardisation on condensing technology as well as the reasoning behind the standardisation based on European condensate research. Mr Qi Wang, the Head of CGAC, Ms Rong Tang, the secretary of CGAC and Mr Guilong He, the Engineer of CGAC attended the meeting.

On 11th March 2019, Europe China Heating Initiative (European Chamber's Heating Sub-Working Group) has successfully arranged a meeting with Mr Wang Qi, Director of China Quality Supervising and Test Center for Gas Appliances at ISH Frankfurt 2019. Delegates from European Heating Industry Association and Federation of the German Heating Industry also participated in this meeting.

On 21st January 2019, the European Chamber Shanghai Chapter welcomed the visit of the Association of European Heating Industry (EHI) delegates, including Mr Klaus Jesse, the Chairman of EHI Executive Council, Mr Andreas Lücke, the Secretary of the Department Market Research and International Market and Mr Paolo Basso, the Regulatory Affairs Manager of EHI.
Mr Andreas Lücke summarized the achievements since the Europe- China Heating Initiative (ECHI) established in July 2018, especially the completion of the Initiative’s brochure on condensing technology, which acts as the key material for advocacies activities to promote condensing boilers in China. Potential stakeholders and circumstances to distribute this brochure are also discussed and identified in this meeting, such as ISH Frankfurt.
Mr Klaus Jesse and Mr Andreas Lücke expressed the need of further cooperation with the European Chamber next year, and would welcome the European Chamber delegates at ISH Frankfurt in March.
