European Chamber President Meets Sichuan Vice Governor
On 23rd April, Jens Eskelund, president of the European Chamber, met with Zuo Yongxiang, vice governor of Sichuan Province. Eskelund was joined for the meeting by Massimo Bagnasco, vice president of the Chamber and chair of the Southwest China Chapter, Leo Zhang, vice chair of the Southwest China Chapter, and Sally Huang, general manager of the Southwest China Chapter.
Eskelund said that the Chamber is committed to helping European companies understand Sichuan and set up businesses there. In recent years, the Chamber has organised multiple delegations to visit the province, participated in activities such as a tour of Sichuan by well-known Chinese and foreign enterprises, and jointly organised foreign investment-themed activities with the provincial government. The Chamber will continue to promote deeper cooperation between Sichuan and Europe, including in intelligent manufacturing and green and low-carbon industries.
