Pharmaceutical Working Group Meeting with CCIEE Social Affairs Department Head Zhang Huanbo

On 27th September, European Chamber Pharmaceutical Working Group held a meeting with Mr Zhang Huanbo, Head of Social Affairs (Health) Department of the China Center for International Exchanges (CCIEE) on the topic of promoting the pharmaceutical industry's innovation in China. 

During the session, Zhang shared his insights and observations of the challenges facing the European pharmaceutical companies and their innovative development in the Chinese market, specifically, reading the difficulties of innovative drugs' pricing, hospital listing, funding and intellectual property rights (IPR) protection. 

 Ms Carol Liu, National Chair of the European Chamber Pharmaceutical Working Group, delivered opening remarks. The meeting was joined by 20 members, both online and offline, from the working group.
