European Chamber Vice President Meets with Guangdong Governor at Reception Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China

On September 29th, European Chamber Vice President, Mr. Klaus Zenkel, was invited to attend a provincial reception celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

At the event, Mr. Zenkel engaged in meaningful discussions with key provincial leaders, including Guangdong Governor Mr. Wang Weizhong, Director General of the Guangdong Department of Commerce Mr. Zhang Jinsong, Deputy Director of the Office of Foreign Affairs Commission of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee Mr. Chen Guangjun, and Chairman of Guangdong CCPIT Mr. Chen Xiaofeng.

During his conversation with Governor Wang, Mr. Zenkel expressed his gratitude to the Guangdong government for its ongoing support of the Chamber. He also highlighted the upcoming launch of the Position Paper 2024/2025 in South China on October 17th, emphasizing the Chamber's hope for a VIP meeting with the Governor during that time. Governor Wang, in return, thanked the European Chamber for its efforts in supporting European companies' development in China and expressed optimism for continued collaboration between the two parties.
