Seminar on "Optimizing the Business Environment for Government Procurement" Held Successfully

Liaoning Provincial Department of Finance, in collaboration with the Liaoning Provincial Government Procurement Association, invited European Chamber Shenyang Chapter and representatives from members and local private companies to jointly hold a seminar on "Optimizing the Business Environment for Government Procurement" on September 18th, 2023.
Started with an overview of the work on optimizing the business environment for government procurement, Mr. Jingxin Liu, Director of the Government Procurement Supervision and Management Division of the Provincial Department of Finance, gave a general introduction to modules such as tender announcements, policy interpretation, and online complaints by referring to the Liaoning Provincial Government Procurement website. He also solicited input regarding unreasonable threshold and barriers that companies encountered when participating in government procurement, followed by listening to the opinions and suggestions of some participants on improving government procurement, and taking notes of unfair cases encountered by representatives in public bidding, and clarified certain doubts. The seminar facilitated an open and candid exchange between the Provincial Department of Finance and businesses on the topic of government procurement.
