Meeting with Tianjin Development and Reform Commission on Setting up Regular Exchanges on Tianjin's Overall Plan of Carbon Neutrality

On February 16th, the Tianjin Chapter of the European Chamber met with the Environment and Low Carbon Department of Tianjin Development and Reform Commission on setting up regular seminars on Tianjin's overall plan of carbon neutrality with the European Chamber.

Catherine Guo, General Manager of the Tianjin Chapter introduced the interest of members on Tianjin's plan of how to reach its carbon neutrality targets, the concerns of access to green energy since 2020 and the Chamber's carbon neutrality conference in the past 2 years. Chen Weizhong, Chief of the Environment and Low Caron Department welcomed the Chamber team and showed strong interest to better understand the common needs and concerns of the European companies presented by the Chamber. 

Seminars on seven topics are planed to co-organize in 2023, between European Chamber members and Tianjin Development and Reform Commission.
