South China Chapter Board Chair met with Vice President from Guangzhou CCPIT

On 18th January, European Chamber South China Board Chair Mr. Klaus Zenkel met with a government delegation led by Mr. Zhang Chaoping, Vice President of Guangzhou CCPIT in the chamber Guangzhou office.

During the meeting, Klaus had an in-depth discussion with Mr. Zhang about the EU-China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment, business environment for foreign companies in the Greater Bay Area, the Business Confidence Survey of the European companies which operate in China market and the potential cooperation areas for the South China Chapter and the CCPIT Guangzhou. Based on the member interests, the two parties touched on the topic about organizing member delegations to have field trips in certain districts in Guangzhou to understand the latest development and policy and network with the local Chinese companies. Also, Guangzhou business and government delegations to Europe to have meeting arrangements with member companies headquarter will be another priority.
