European Chamber VP Guido spoke at China-Europe Qingdao Forum on Sustainable Development and 2022 International Health and Environment Industry Development Forum

On 5th September, the International Health and Environment Industries Association (IHEIA) hosted the China-Europe Qingdao Forum on Sustainable Development and 2022 International Health and Environment Industry Development Forum. Guido D. Giacconi, vice president of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, spoke on the prospects for EU-China cooperation in the field of carbon neutrality. Mr Giacconi highlighted that—while European companies are well placed to assist China with its decarbonisation drive—greater policy transparency, market access and access to renewable energy will be required if European businesses are to fully contribute their expertise.
