European Aerospace Clusters Meeting with Chinese Peers: Aviation Supply Chain Recovery and New Partnerships

In 2021, European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP) and the International Aviation Supply Chain (IASC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly accelerated longterm international cooperation in the commercial aviation sector. Both parties aim at developing effective channels for cooperation and learning between global clusters through the Global Aerospace Cluster Network (GAC).

The missions of the GAC in China are to: Promote EACP and their cluster members in China. Promote the GAC brand and collaborate on GAC-related activities through provisions of information, contacts, and matchmaking opportunities. Assist EACP clusters and SME members to better understand Chinese market dynamics, connect them with the right local partners, and build meaningful local contacts.

In this meeting, topics like Aviation and Aerospace WG Chair Mr Philippe Bardol delivered a speech and shared insights and practices of EU, on the topic of glocal aviation and aerospace supply chain cooperations.
