VIP Meeting with Mr Wang Fengchao, Chengdu Mayor

On 16th September, European Chamber VP and Southwest China Chapter Chair Massimo Bagnasco led an Advisory Council member delegation to meet with Mr Wang Fengchao, mayor of Chengdu. VP Bagnasco outlined the key findings of the Chamber’s Business Confidence Survey 2021 (BCS), and also touched on local European business perspectives on 14th Five-year Plan implementation in terms of carbon neutrality and constructing the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. Mayor Wang said his office aims to facilitate communication, including policy briefings, between the competent authorities and the European Chamber on these matters. Liu Xiaoliu, Chengdu vice mayor also attended the meeting, as well as officials from the Chengdu High-Tech Zone, Tianfu New Area and the Chengdu Bureau of Exposition.
