The Draft stresses the efficiency in handling IP cases with same authorities, across-authorities in the city and with other provinces, introduces public credit system to increase the cost of infringement, broadens the digital methods of notarization for preserving evidence, involving industry associations to advise and discipline members in IP protection, and enhancing mediation and arbitration to solve IP disputes. One of the key purposes of this Regulations is related to the promotion of further cooperation and coordination among relevant administrative departments, and thus this Regulations should be able to form a joint force and play an important role in protecting intellectual property rights.
