Meeting with Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-rural Development on Regulation Interpretation

On 29th September, 17 representatives from Fashion and Leather Desk and Construction Working Group had a meeting with six officials from Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-rural Development (SCoHURD) for a better understanding of the local regulation, the Implementing Measures for Administration of Construction Decoration Repairing Projects (the Measures).
At the meeting, Director Shen from the Department of Construction Market Supervision highlighted the objective of making the Measures which is to further optimize the business environment to ensure the safety and order of the construction market in Shanghai. Other officials respectively from the departments of safety quality supervision, construction engineering safety, and quality supervision station, and design documents supervision office gave introductions in detail on key articles and answered questions from members about operational issues.
As repeated, in light of the big mission of Shanghai government to build a global megacity with advanced management of the city, SCoHURD has put lots of efforts in drafting the Measures which may represent the highest requirements in safety; however, SCoHURD will keep monitoring the implementation of the policy, listen feedbacks from enterprises and further improve it in the future.
