CCAR 21 Comments to CAAC, meeting with CAAC, Airworthiness Dept.

On 20th March, the Aviation & Aerospace Working Group (WG) held a meeting with Ms CHEN Ye from the Airworthiness Department of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to exchange views on the modified CCAR -21- R4, the main airworthiness regulation of the aeronautic industry. Ms Chen introduced the objectives behind the modification of CCAR 21,and explained and interpreted the key content of the 10 chapters of the Rule. She also clarified the relationship between CCAR -21- R4 and the EU- China bilateral agreement-BASA.

 

During the meeting, members outlined their main questions and recommendations to Ms Chen. Ms Chen said she welcomed members to continue providing their comments to the CAAC, which will invite members to join its forthcoming meeting and conference on airworthiness.  WG members form Safran, Thales, and Rolls-Royce attended the meeting.
