Meeting with Heilongjiang Department of Commerce Deputy Director General Jiang Baoguo

On 13th December, European Chamber Shanghai Chapter General Manager (GM) Ioana Kraft met with a delegation of Heilongjiang Government officials, led by the Heilongjiang Department of Commerce Deputy Director General (DDG) Jiang Baoguo.

GM Kraft welcomed DDG Jiang, and gave a brief introduction to the European Chamber. GM Kraft also presented the Position Paper, and highlighted how government subsidies for state-owned enterprises (SOEs) hinders fair competition. DDG Jiang said that the Heilongjiang Government values a conducive business environment greatly and is promoting World Bank standards to improve the local situation. The meeting concluded as DDG Jiang invited member companies to visit Heilongjiang, and both sides agreed to engage in more cooperation and dialogues in the future.
