Meeting with Tianjin Municipal Government and Vice Mayor Jin Xiangjun

On the afternoon of 22nd November 2019, European Chamber Secretary General Adam Dunnett and Tianjin Chair Cheung Yup Fan  brought a delegation of European Chamber Tianjin members to meet with a delegation of representatives from departments of Tianjin Municipal Government including Tianjin Municipal Commission of Commerce, Tianjin Development and Reform Commission,Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, Tianjin Municipal Industrial and Information Technology Bureau,Tianjin Public Security Bureau, Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Financial Affairs, Tianjin Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Tianjin Ecology and Environment Bureau, Tianjin Administration for Market Regulation,etc. Mr.Zhang Aiguo, Director General of Tianjin Commission of Commerce led the delegation. 

During the 2.5-hour meeting, many topics were discussed in depth, such as progress on the Corporate Social Credit System in Tianjin, local implementation rules of the Environmental Regulation, plans of improving the Business Environment in Tianjin, the influence of the collaborative development of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei Province, Policies for Auto Industry and how companies to accelerate the Auto industry together with the local government, company employees recruitment and retention,  the local progress of national 12 policies for immigration and Extry/Exit control,  the progress of VAT Invoice implemantation, the corporate social responsibility like famale employee development. Director General Zhang and his delegation provided thorough responses and requested further specific cases. 

European Chamber Secretary General Adam Dunnett met Mr. Jin Xiangjun, the Tianjin Vice Mayor and delivered a Position Paper. Vice Mayor Jin stated "Tianjin is the gateway of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the intersection of One belt and One road, Tianjin is not only a good manufacturing base,  but also has convenient port advantage, huge consumer market and high-quality business environment for all kinds of business including European business".
