Meeting with Secretary of Party Leadership Group, Vice President Ma Jiantang, Development Research Centre of the State Council (DRC)

On 25th November, European Chamber President Jörg Wuttke led a delegation of the Chamber’s Advisory Council members on a visit to the Development Research Centre of the State Council (DRC), for an exclusive meeting with Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President (Minister) Ma Jiantang. Director generals from the DRC’s International Cooperation section, Research Department of Foreign Economic Relations, and research institutes of Market Economy, Enterprise Research and Finance were also in attendance.

Key topics addressed by the Chamber delegation included the 14th Five-year Plan, state-owned enterprises’ (SOE) reform, competitive neutrality and anti-monopoly legislation. Party Secretary Ma further elaborated on government measures aiming to ensure equal access, for both foreign-invested enterprises and domestic market players, to all essential productive factors.
