Submitted comments on MEE's New Measures for Environmental Management of Chemical Substances

On 16th August, the European Chamber's Environment and Petrochemicals, Chemicals and Refining working groups submitted comments to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment on its draft New Measures for Environmental Management of Chemical Substances.
The working groups welcomes these revisions to the former Ministry of Environmental Protection's Order 7, which simplify and take a more scientific approach to chemical management. Among other detailed comments, the working groups emphasised further small volume exemptions, to lessen the burden of reporting for new chemicals, and to protect data confidentiality of applicants.
