Meeting with Romanian Ambassador Basil Vasilica Constantinescu

On 8th July, European Chamber President Jörg Wuttke met with Basil Vasilicǎ Constantinescu, Romanian Ambassador to China, and introduced the European Chamber and its key publications, the European Business in China Position Paper 2018/2019 and Business Confidence Survey 2019. They exchanged views about the latest economic developments in China, Romania and the European Union, as well as the Belt and Road Initiative. Nicolae Vasilescu, president of the Romania-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also joined the meeting. Both chamber presidents hope to develop stronger mutual ties to support Romanian companies in becoming more active on the Chinese market.
