The European Chamber participates in the International Symposium on Standardization Strategy and Policy in the Future

On 28th November, the European Chamber participated in the International Symposium on Standardization Strategy and Policy in the Future.
The general session in the morning had as a topic standardisation strategy. Chinese representatives from institutions like the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), the China National Institute of Standardisation (CNIS), the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) presented on China's standardisation strategies such as Standardisation 2035. European and American experts from the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN), the Association Française de Normalisation (AFNOR), the German Commission for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies of DIN and VDE (DKE) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) outlined their respective standardisation strategies.
The afternoon session consisted of a variety of topics such as standards and patents, standards and international trade and standards and SME development.
