SME Internet+ Service Summit

Director of SME Bureau pointed four important tasks:

- Implement national policies to local SMEs

- Improve service to SMEs, through Internet+ platform, ensure an interactive, connected and open platform to SMEs.

- Coordinate different sources and service, national service centres should take lead and be examples.

- Operate and manage the Internet+ platform creatively by building up lasting and healthy market mechanism.

EU SME Advocacy Coordinator Ms. Erica Wang participated in the dialogue of SME Service – best practice sharing. She introduced EU SME Centre and the expert team to the audience and panellists. Erica Wang was asked by sharing best practice of European Union helping SME getting to China and international collaboration. EW presented the four key issues of SMEs facing in China 1) Access to Finance 2) Administrative burden 3) IPR 4) Late Payments. EW exchanges opinion with China SME association secretary general and other panellists about the role of policy in helping SME development. The dialogue was concluded with good outcomes:

1)      Continuous policy in supporting SMEs international collaboration

2)      Enhance IPR in China, especially for foreign SMEs

3)      Encourage foreign entrepreneurs participate in healthcare, smart manufacturing, high-technology
