Shanghai Chapter Vice Chairman Carlo D'Andrea spoke at the 8th China (Jiangsu) Enterprises Outbound Investment Conference, where he illustrated the increase in Chinese outbound investment in various industries in European countries. He contrasted the situation of Chinese investors being able to freely invest in Europe, in all kinds of industries, while European investors in China still face a number of restrictions and barriers. In our Position Paper 2016/2017, the European Chamber called for reciprocity in investment and equal treatment to be afforded to domestic and foreign investors in China.
