Meeting with Shanghai Association of Foreign Investment on BCS and Future Cooperation

In this meeting, Dr. Ioana Kraft, General Manager of the European Chamber Shanghai Chapter shared key findings of the BCS with Ms. Zhang Rongjie, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Association of Foreign Investment. The BCS shows a mixed pictures - while China remains the significant investment destination for the European business, the complex administrative approval system, market access barriers and economic downturn are some of the key factors that the European Chamber members are most concerned whiling doing and expanding business in China. Ms. Zhang spoke highly of the BCS. As the Chamber and the Association have members in common, both sides agreed to meet regularly and share information of events and activities that interested to both members.
