Meeting with DDG of Shanghai FAO on IBLAC

On August 26, Ms. Ioana Kraft, General Manager of European Chamber Shanghai Chapter, paid a visit to Foreign Affairs Office of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government and met with Deputy Director General Mr. Zhu Weimin to discuss the possibility of the Chamber’s participation in the event of International Business Leaders’ Advisory Council (IBLAC) to Mayor of Shanghai. Mr. Zhu introduced Ms. Kraft the history of the IBLAC, the procedure of applying for an IBLAC member and topics for discussion this year. Ms. Kraft expressed the Chamber’s interest of joining the IBLAC event as an observer this year and presented Mr. Zhu the Shanghai Position Paper 2014/15 and Business Confidence Survey 2015.  Both sides agreed to continue such dialogue in the future.
