Job description
The Global Sales Director will be based in Zhongshan, China and report directly to the CEO. She/he will be responsible for managing the global sales force worldwide, developing and delivering the commercial strategy and executing the tactical plans to achieve Star's business plan.
Key Responsibilities
1.Develop Star's wordwide sales strategy, breaking down the annual tactical plans, communicating with C suite executives and other relevant stakeholders
2.Conduct a competitive analysis and developing the plans to gain greater market share
3.Work with Marketing to analyze SEO data/activity and formulate strategies to react to the data based on macro economic and other factors on an ROI basis
4.Build up the global sales employee's capabilities by acquiring, orienting, developing and coaching
Identify emerging markets and developing plans to gain new business
5.Review and continually drive feedback to the internal team on understanding quoted part profiles and adapting pricing strategy to maximize conversion rates
6.Build strong productive relationships with the manufacturing team and react to feedback regarding their views on communication and processes related to technical areas
7.Work with the manufacturing team to develop templates to ensure that all questions about customer's jobs and requirements are asked up front
8.Work with the manufacturing team on pushing data from the quotation module and creating reports to measure different data sets such as materials quoted, process quoted, etc. using the ERP system
9.Ensure that robust and clear Visual Quality, and internationally recognized tolerance standards, are applied to all jobs in the estimation stage and that this is thoroughly communicated to customers
10.Adhere to all company policies, procedures and ethics codes
11.Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of projects, individuals and the company
Skills & experience
Job requirements
1.Bachelor degree with engineering background
2.Experience of high mix, low-volume, customized industry
3.Experience leading a global sales force, with a proven track record of results
4.Experience working in China is a plus
5.Ability to decide and initiate actions
6.Ability to make the change management
