It focuses on the establishment of intelligent factory(workshop) pilots, aiming to strengthen the system, technical service system and cooperation support system of intelligent manufacturing, promote the establishment of national demonstration area in South of Jiangsu, and guide enterprises to accelerate the establishment of a new model for the whole production process.

The plan put forward the goal should be achieved by the end of 2017:

Jiangsu Province would create 450 provincial demonstration of intelligent workshop, numerical control (NC) rate of manufacturing equipment in scale industrial enterprises would achieve around 57%, Internet application coverage rate in the key research and design, production management, marketing services and other sectors would reach 55%, the key control software penetration rate would reach 53%, key control system integrated coverage rate would reach 30%.
