In view of an increasingly strengthened regulatory environment in the Chinese information
and communication technology (ICT) sector, as well as relevant lobbying needs in this regard,
a Cybersecurity Sub‐working Group was established at the European Chamber under the ICT
Working Group. The sub‐working group focuses on lobbying in relation to Chinese securityrelated
legislation and any extension of such policies into banking, insurance and other
industries.
