At the opening of the NPC at the Great Hall of the People, Premier Wen delivered his last government work report, outlining a number of key targets and priority areas for 2013, including:

·         Annual GDP growth of 7.5%

·         Keep consumer inflation around 3.5%

·         Create nine million jobs

·         Boost domestic consumption as a “long-term strategy for economic development”

·         Focus on improving people’s well-being

·         Focus on environmental protection
