The Position Paper is published annually and represents the overall views of European companies doing business in China. It details the key concerns and recommendations of each of the 30 Working Groups and 6 Forums in regard to WTO implementation issues, trade issues and broader policy-related issues. Public Procurement Study: European Business Experiences Competing for Public Contracts in China

Launched in April 2011, this is the first ever report from a business perspective on public procurement in China. The 50 page study offers a detailed analysis of the typical bidding process and common challenges encountered by European companies competing for public contracts in China. The Study contains three sector case studies and draws on the knowledge and experience of the European Chamber's 1,600 member companies to make recommendations on how to improve regulation of this vital component of China's economy.

Asia-Pacific Regional Headquarters Study examines the factors influencing how large foreign firms make the decision to locate their regional headquarters in any specific city in Asia-Pacific region.

The study is based on quantitative survey responses and face-to-face interviews with senior representatives of European Multinational companies operating in the Asia-Pacific region and compares their perspectives of the relative merits of locating their businesses in the major cities of the region - with particular focus on Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore.
