EU-China Business Summit 2009 - Registration now open

On 30th November, business leaders from Europe and China will gather in Nanjing for the 5th EU-China Business Summit. With the theme of “The Green Agenda: Sustaining Growth Beyond the Recovery”, this year’s Business Summit will focus on how to achieve a sustainable recovery from the global financial crisis, climate change as well as the development of EU-China trade relations.

Run in parallel with the annual EU-China Political Summit, this Business Summit will be an effective platform for European and Chinese companies to provide feedback and recommendations to the European and Chinese political leaders present. A Chinese State leader, European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso and Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt, who holds the EU's rotating presidency, are expected to attend this Summit. The participants will also enjoy high-level networking opportunities with hundreds of senior business people and officials from both sides.

The EU-China Business Summit is held annually, but takes place in China only once every two years, and is recognized as the most high level platform for exchange between EU and Chinese business and political leaders. The event is being jointly organized by the European Chamber and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).

Sponsorship opportunities are still available now. To be a sponsor, register for the EU-China Business Summit or get more information about this high level event, please click here.
