The pilot scheme on work permit for foreigners had been implemented nationwide in April 2017 to absorb more high-level talents, however many foreign companies and foreigners did not really understand the new policy. In order to help them gain a deep understanding of the pilot scheme on work permit, exclusive dialogue with Jiangsu Foreign Expert Bureau and Exit-Entry Bureau of Jiangsu Public Security Department on New Work Permit and Exit-Entry Policies in Jiangsu was held by the European Chamber of Commerce Nanjing Chapter on Friday, 26th May 2017 in Intercontinental Hotel Nanjing.

 

Mr. Liu Su, Deputy Director General of Foreign Experts Bureau of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security shared latest development of China’s new Foreigners’ Work Permit Policy and introduced the new online security system. Mr. Yang Xingliang, Deputy Director of Exit-Entry Bureau of Jiangsu Public Security Department shared current exit-entry policy of Jiangsu and interpreted positive policy expectation. Mr. Liu Su informed about the new regulations and Mr. Yang Xingliang, Deputy Director of Exit-Entry Bureau of Jiangsu Public Security Bureau gave detailed explanations of Jiangsu’s port visa policy, 144-hour visa-free transit policy and working permit promotion policy.
