Interpretation on Social Average Salary both in Nanjing and Jiangsu

Ms. Shi Min, the Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) BU Director of FESCO Jiangsu, provided policy update on minimum wage and upper limit of housing fund. Ms. Shi then focused on the subject of the social average salary, which worked as the backbone of the social security system. She got participants involved in reviewing the historical data of the social average salary and analyzed how the data was calculated.  She noted that the social average salary departed from the truth, since the statistical data published was based on urban per capita disposable income of unincorporated private enterprise only.

Ms. Zhang Jie, the Senior Manager of corporate culture department in LG Display, introduced LG’s 5 years project experience on the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), from the counseling room to increasing employees’ engagement.

HR WG meeting would upgrade from information sharing to policy lobbying. Members Recommendations on HR policies at both provincial and municipal level will be addressed on Nanjing Position Paper 2015. The Nanjing Position Paper will be an effective way to make members’ voices heard.
