AustCham will be continuing the series with an update on the Asset Management industry in China featuring experts from Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets, Capital Strategy Research and AustralianSuper. Hear first-hand insights from Australia’s experts in the growing asset management industry in China as they share perspectives on stock markets, infrastructure assets, Chinese insurance companies and the Chinese regulatory environment for foreign asset managers.

Speaker:
Wei Shuangjuan — International Partner at Haiwen & Partners, the leading PRC law firm. Shuangjuan is based at the Beijing Office of Haiwen & Partners and her practice focuses on M&A, securities and asset management. Shuangjuan regularly advises both international and domestic financial and asset management institutions on transactions, products design, China franchise and regulatory & compliance matters. Shuangjuan joined Haiwen in 2012 and before that she worked with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Shuangjuan holds a Bachelor Degree and a Master Degree from Peking University (PKU) Law School, and also received an LLM Degree from New York University.
Ms Wei co-authored the China chapter of The Asset Management Review, Second Edition, published by The Law Business Research.
