According to a study, conducted by a famous relocation firm, expatriates in China are leaving at a rate much higher than they’re being replaced. The localization strategy is not new to China foreign invested enterprises. According to its supporters it helps gain more trust from the local country, where its subsidiary lies in, which further improves the compromise of the multinational enterprise and the local market.
However, is the localization strategy ideal?
Up to what extent?
What factors companies need to take into account when hiring from local and expatriates talent pool in term of attracting the right people, tax regulations and cross cultural matters?
With these questions in mind, the HR Forum invited experts who will share their views, professional analysis and argue the advantages and disadvantage of the localization.
