The Southwest China Chapter Board Election where Chairman / VP-designate for the Executive Committee & local Chairman (1), Chongqing Representative (1) and Board Member (4) are elected will take place in Chengdu Jinjiang Hotel on Monday, April 20th (Monday).

The Returing Office, Mr. Adam Dunnett, Secretary General of the European Chamber, would like to invite you to attend this annual GM gathering to participate and witness the board election 2015.

Who can vote and run for elections?

You can vote and run for election if you:

1)  are the Designated Representative (the main contact between the European Chamber and your company);

2)  are an European member with operations in China;

3)  are a member of one of our working groups or forums; and

4)  have paid dues for the year 2015(please make sure that the Chamber has received and confirmed your membership payment by Friday, April 17^th).

Who can attend the Board Election Meeting?

All members (including those who do not meet the requirements for voting and standing for election), with paid dues, have the right to participate. However only members who meet the above mentioned 4 criteria can vote or run for election.

How can I vote?

There are two ways of voting:

1) In person by secret ballot at the elections venue. Please note that even if you have voting rights confirmed by the Secretariat of the Chamber, you must have registered for the Southwest China Board Elections in order to exercise this vote by Friday, April 17^th, 6pm.

2) Assign a proxy to vote on your behalf by Friday, April 17^th, 6pm. Please fill in the proxy form and send a scanned copy to Mr. Zach Li at zli@europeanchamber.com.cn, by fax to +86 28 8529 3447 or in person at the Chamber office in Chengdu (04-A, 16th Floor, Building 1, Central Plaza, No.8, Shuncheng Avenue, Jinjiang District, Chengdu) or Chongqing (Lobby Gallery, 1F, Hilton Chongqing, No.139 Zhong Shan San Lu, Yuzhong District, Chongqing)

The proxy must be a colleague from your own legal entity.This requirement has only one exception for the Individual member, who may give his/her proxy to another individual member/corporate member in Chengdu or Chongqing.

Proxies received after the deadline and in a format different from those listed above won’t be accepted
