Global business has already arrived: Are you ready for it? Working across cultural boundaries is no longer for top executives only. Some of your expertise may be wasted if you are not able to connect it with the right opportunities.
We all want to surpass our boundaries. But when we enter new markets, facing the challenges is just as important as taking the opportunities. In global business today, cultural misunderstanding is still one of the top 3 worries of leading executives.
Develop your own style of getting results with business people who share your professional commitment but come from a different cultural background.
1. Improve cultural awareness
2. Turn stereotypes into advantage
3. Understand different value systems
4. Keep communication explicit
5. Use direct and indirect approaches
6. Clarify agreements
7. Handle disagreements tactfully
8. Encourage cross-cultural feedback
This workshop is for anyone who communicates regularly with people who are not from their own culture, from sales specialists to top management.
