What is it?
The Leadership Incubator (TLI) is a leadership workshop series and a learning journey for business leaders. As you prepare for leadership responsibilities, it is important that you acquire and apply critical leadership, problem solving, decision-making and communication skills to help you deliver team results. The objective of this workshop series is to gradually build those skills to help you succeed in leading your team.
Who is it for?
This workshop series is designed for business leaders, people managers either first time or those with substantial experiences already. Function heads such of finance, marketing, production, human resources development, logistics, sales and business development would greatly benefit from this leadership workshop series.
The series is composed of 3 workshops. You can choose to either participate in all 3 workshops at a special price (15% discount of the total price) or just take part in the single sessions. Contact us if you wish to take part in the complete series.
Session 1: Leadership Essentials
The first session helps you acquire a leader’s mindset. The workshop introduces what effective managers and leaders are and the 3C3W leadership framework. Using highly interactive learning activities, you will participate individually and in groups to experience and build crucial leadership skills such as thinking globally, goal setting, assessing current situation and discussing what and how the future would look like in the context of your team’s mission, processes and competencies.
The workshop is divided into 4 parts as follows:
Part 1: General Leadership Concepts. In this module, the participants learn that leadership is a mindset not a position or title. The participants discuss “what is an effective leadership?”. They also compare and contrast the roles and behaviors of managers and leaders.
Part 2: Leadership Frameworks. In this module, the participants learn the 3W3C framework of leadership. Recognizing the 3 fundamental questions the leaders ask, the participants now investigate how the dimensions of clarity, climate and competence are optimized to bring the organizational, team and individual levels of productivity at the desired and/or higher results. In this module, the participants also engage in activities and discussion about the conditions for success within the organization and start practicing and applying the leadership skills they are learning into the real context or issue.
Part 3: Goal Setting. In this module, the participants learn to specifically apply the leadership framework in the goal setting exercise. Now that they are able to articulate what is the direction of the company and why it is important to the stakeholders, now they need to discover how to deliver business outcomes from their stated goals and objectives. They will work on a group case study to put all the skills they learn together and put their leadership development to the test.
Program Summary and Wrap Up: In this module, the participants work as a team to develop best practices for being an effective leader, for creating the conditions for success and for setting goals. Finally, they prepare their individual action plan.
