Shanghai will welcome its new age of mandatory garbage sorting from 1st July 2019. What does this policy mean to different social characters, especially enterprises? What is behind this policy? Is it a challenge or an opportunity for enterprises? How could enterprises participate in this social work in a more creative way, and bringing benefits to themselves at the same time?
This Seminar and Workshop ( S+ Workshop) on “Garbage Sorting and Recycling Economy”, in the afternoon of 26th March, will provide participants a great platform to explore innovative solutions for the challenges brought by Shanghai’s new regulations on garbage sorting. To inspire the discussion, interesting games, documentary videos, policy analyses, case studies, and workshop will be included in the session.
S+ Workshop, as an innovative way of cooperative study and creation, is initiated by Business Ecology Studio. With the help of instructors, participants will learn more and form a deeper understanding of topics and social issues related to sustainable development. They will also have chances to work out creative solutions through cooperation. We expect this in-depth and collaborative study experience to have a profound influence on participants, so as to cultivate a more sustainable lifestyle.
